community group

We are so thankful for our community of friends in Nashville. We have had the privilege of leading 2 community groups through our church and have been so blessed by our friends. Here are a few pictures from our recent pool party get together.

pool days

4th of July

We had a great 4th. First the boys both took a 3 hour nap, so for once I got a nap and Michael slept 2 hours (I guess he needed some rest)!! After that we headed to the Gardner's house for a cookout, then got up the courage to take both boys to see fireworks at Belle Meade Country Club with the Hodges. They did great! Luke was mesmerized and Jacob enjoyed it as long as I was holding him in my lap and covering his ears. Once they were done, Jacob said "let's do it again." We'll have to wait another year, honey.

Jacob found Bella Grace's pink bow at our house and had to try it on. He was very specific about where I was to put it. He thought he was so funny and wanted me to take a picture.

My grandmother came to my parents for a visit (all the way from Dickson, TN) and had so much fun seeing the boys and holding Luke.
