beach trip

Rachel, Rachel, Misty, Lindsey, Julie, Amy

Thanks to my husband and some extra hands from the grandparents, I got some much needed time away from home. Me and 5 other girls from our community group at church spent a long weekend in Sandestin. We had a blast!

tubes?

So Luke has his 4th ear infection. He had 3 in two months, took a month off and now has another one. Basically if his nose is running, he's gonna get one... so the doctor is recommending I see an ENT to discuss tubes. Since these ear infections are in the "healthier months" she is very concerned about what the colder months will be like for us.
I've heard they are expensive and of course it is surgery so I want to do my reasearch. Past those two things I hear very positive stuff. My pediatrician recommended Dr. Mowery, but I'd love to hear your stories (good or bad) and see if you have recommendations for an ENT.
Oh, and did I say I'm sleep deprived? which may factor into my decision for tubes... :)

his new love...

Luke loves to be on his feet. Jacob's getting a good dose of learning to share these days becuase Luke is into everything he does- his train table, his cars, his piano, his play doh. I'm sure that will never end.

And here is a video of their debut performance together...

9 months

brother Jacob at 9 months

Luke is 9 months... at his check-up today he weighed 18 lbs and was 28 inches (compared to Jacob who was 19 lbs, 7oz and 28 in).

Luke is trying to crawl, says "dada" and "mama", loves to stand up, loves eating table food, just got both of his top teeth (finally, thank you), oh, and LOVES for his momma to hold him. He is still giving great smiles!
