moving!

We are so excited to move to our new house! It is unbelievable to me that this little home is all my boys know & that is all changing tomorrow. They are so excited to move to the new house which is no small blessing. We obviously have so many memories here, but know that we will carry them beyond these walls. It does seem to be an end to a chapter in our lives which we grieve, but we are so thankful! Here are a couple pictures from our last night at 519 Oakley Dr...

The boys' in their rooms...

Luke decided he wanted to go to the new house in a box like our other stuff.
And Jacob decided he needed to relax...
Thanks to everyone who helped us with boxes, caring for the boys, prayer & food!!

Our Valentine dinner!

As I was packing today, I came across this table cloth. I got it 10 years ago for mine & Michael's first Valentine's day. We couldn't go out to eat, so a tablecloth & candles made the dinner different. I thought it would be fun to make our dinner a little different with the boys this year too. I had planned to make chicken parmesean anyway and it was actually what I made our first Valentine's day as well. Same recipe & everything! The boys loved the candles, Luke sang happy birthday to himself (becuase that is what candles are for, right?). We exchanged cards & all told each other what we loved about one another. We topped off the dinner with M &M's. It will be an evening to remember! Oh,and of course I knew the table cloth would need to head straight to the wash- spaghetti sauce, toddler boys & a white table cloth do not mix well.

SNOW DAY!

We spent the day being lazy. We were so glad Daddy came home early to go sledding (along with 30+ other people at the Ellington Ag center). There was even a visit by the ambulance (not sure what happened there). We topped off the night with spaghetti & now the boys are fast asleep.

birthday girl!

We celebrated Elle's first birthday & had such a great time! What a blessing it is to watch her grow. She loves her cousins & they love their "little pookie"!
