Luke is very strong and loves to sit, so we're trying out the exer-saucer. The other day Jacob was showing Luke how to move some of the toys on it... very sweet! Those moments give us glimpses that our active 2 1/2 year old does have a sweet, caring side :) Jacob loves playing with the carseat as well. Really, he likes to play with just about anything especially if someone else has it!

renovation update
We are done with the construction, but have the tile, carpet and outside brick to be done. We have some touch up painting to do (as you can see). The first picture is right off our kitchen where our back door entrance used to be. Behind the doors will be our washer and dryer. That is also a hallway with another door into our bedroom. The second picture is the bed and bath. We hope to be in around mid-February.

Luke
Here is a sweet pic of Luke. He really gives great smiles and will brighten anyone's day!! It's surprising that he's smiling here becuase he is not a big fan of his car seat...

Christmas
We had a great Christmas. We celebrated with family for a full week. We opened gifts on Friday night before Christmas with my family and learned while trying to put Jacob to bed that there is a reason you open gifts in the morning and not at night. Jacob screamed "I want Bob, my Bob (the Builder)" for a good 15 minutes before settling down for bed time.
We had Christmas at home, then headed to Knoxville for a few days. Then back to Nashville for my mom's extended family bingo tradition. Jacob enjoyed opening presents and having lots of attention. Every time we recieved a Christmas card in the mail, he would say "Happy Birthday." We've got a little work to do for next year.
Check out our new pics.
