American Idol- girls

I didn't watch the girls as closely as the guys becuase I had a crying child, but I think this may be my top 5...

5. Michael Johns - My Michael John said "this is the next American Idol... hands down"
I think I may agree. I called to vote and unexpectedly got in. Looking forward to the girls tonight.

everyday life

Jacob played with my old "old maid" cards for a good 45 minutes. Stacking them up, laying them out, etc while I watched American Idol. I couldn't resist.
Jacbo typically runs from the camera, but in a rare instance will ask me to "take a smile." Here Jacob is with the cards again, some very chapped lips and in desperate need of a haircut. Luke is talking to his toes.

It's here!

After 9 weeks of having no washer and dryer, our new set has arrived! I am thankful no trips to the landry mat had to be made! Thanks to my mom for doing most of our landry. And then I wonder did I really want that to end? I could barely keep up with everything at home these last 2 months, now I have to start doing laundry again!

Charlie's birthday

We had so much fun at Charlie's Wiggle's birthday party! Cake, ice cream, pinatta and Charlie's new race car! Jacob has some serious competition for Bella and it looks like Charlie is currently ahead.

he loves attention

This video doesn't do Jacob justice for all the songs he loves to sing. He can pretty much listen to something and know the tune. We hum tunes and he knows exactly which words to sing without us even mentioning it. You can sing most theme songs to the tv shows he likes... Mickey Mouse, Little Einsteins, The Big Comfy Couch and of course Sesame Street. His favorite songs right now are Jesus Loves Me, Twinkle Twinkle, the B-I-B-L-E, He's Got the Whole World in His Hands and even Alicia Keys "No One." There is typically not a quiet moment at our house.

4 months

Luke was 4 months old Wednesday. He had a great check-up and is 13lbs 9 oz and 25 1/2 inches long. Jacob was 14lbs 4 oz and 24 inches at his 4 month check up (little chub, I guess). We had to add the second picture becuse it's our first night with carpet in our house. Jacob wanted to run around the room and said "chase you".
