Thanks to our neighbors, Luke was able to take his first swim on 2010! He had a blast! Jacob was with his daddy at golf camp. Luke has been eyeing the swimming pool a while and when we got to the pool I think he was overwhelmed with how big pools are (cause I'm not sure if his little mind can remember swimming last year), then he said "mommy, will you teach me to swim?"

A river runs through it!
By nothing short of a miracle, our basement is dry! Our area had 15-20 inches within a 36 hour period. Here are some pictures of our backyard. We were without electricity for almost a day, but have many friends who have been without for multiple days and counting, plus have lost all food in their fridge and of course the ability to cook anything. Praying for relief soon!

Young Life family camp
We had a blast at Sharp Top Cove last weekend. The Trones, Hodges & Purifoys mad the drive to Jasper, GA for our kids to experience YL camp first hand. We will definitely go back next year and we'd love for you to come too... April 15-17, 2011!

The electricity went out in camp Saturday night- guess it was getting us prepared for the next weekend at home! I learned that my kids can sleep without night lights & without their beloved blankets. That they can stay up until 11pm- oh my! and that they can go 3 hours 20 minutes in the car without stopping to potty, but not 3 hours 21 minutes.
